Pairidice.
The story of a pirate, a monkey, a mermaid and a pair of dice.
Mona Lisa was a notorious pirate, known for her love of adventure, her trusty monkey Toodles, and her fondness for a good game of dice. One day, as she and Toodles were sailing the high seas, they spotted a beautiful mermaid named Tina lounging on a rock in the middle of the ocean.
Mona Lisa was intrigued and ordered her crew to steer the ship towards the mermaid. But just as they were about to reach her, an enormous octopus appeared out of nowhere, its tentacles reaching up to grab the ship.
Mona Lisa and Toodles were terrified, but Tina was unfazed. She calmly waved her hand, and the octopus disappeared in a puff of smoke. Mona Lisa and Toodles were impressed and grateful, and they invited Tina to join them on their adventures.
As they traveled together, Mona Lisa and Tina bonded over their shared love of dice, and Toodles always joined in on the fun, rolling the dice with his paws. They spent long hours on the ship, laughing and playing, always accompanied by the sound of the waves and the gentle rocking of the boat.
But one day, disaster struck. As they were playing dice, Toodles accidentally rolled the dice overboard. Mona Lisa was devastated - she had never lost her lucky dice before. But Tina was quick to offer a solution. She dove into the ocean and swam deep below the waves, searching for the lost dice.
Mona Lisa and Toodles waited anxiously on the ship, wondering if they would ever see their beloved dice again. But after what felt like hours, Tina emerged from the water, holding the dice in her hand. Mona Lisa and Toodles were overjoyed, and they knew that they owed Tina a debt of gratitude.
From that day forward, the three of them traveled the seas together, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles with the help of their newfound friendship and the magic of the dice. And even though they never did see the octopus again, they knew that they were never truly alone, as long as they had each other.
